No. 001 — Public Design

Digital Operations, by Design.

A foundation that never stops improving — from the structure up.

Production, measurement, improvement, governance, AWS design and build, maintenance, vulnerability response.
Design it, verify it, leave it working. We take on work built around ongoing operation.

SCROLL

— Monitoring

What we watch,
and what we decide from it.

To keep the four conditions of operation turning, we watch the same metrics, in the same form, every day, week and month.
Below is a piece of the monitoring dashboard we designed for our own site.

— Manifesto

Built and delivered
isn't the end.

Websites and business systems alike start decaying the moment they're finished. What determines how fast they decay isn't implementation skill — it's information structure, measurement design, governance mechanisms and protective safeguards.

We put design first. We call the state where update, evaluate, improve and protect are all in place "operation," and we deliver all the way to that state.

— Strength

Our expertise,
defined as work.

  • 01

    Information Architecture

    Information Architecture

We design a structure where information can be found, followed and connected — legible to both machines and people. IA, URL conventions, content models and navigation systems, defined and handed over as real deliverables.

    Structured Semantics

    Structured Semantics

schema.org, OGP, structured data, sitemaps, hreflang. We shape information so search engines and generative AI interpret it correctly — including support for rich results.

    Measurement & Insight

    Measurement & Insight

Signal, insight, action. Collecting numbers isn't where it stops. From GA4 and Search Console measurement design through to the monthly report, we build a flow that leads to decisions.

    Governance & Monitoring

    Governance & Monitoring

Detection, notification, response and evidence retention, organized as an operations ledger. "We're monitoring it" isn't where we stop — recovery drills and log audits are part of the design too.

    Reliability & Security

    Reliability & Security

AWS design and build, monitoring, logging, backups, vulnerability response, first-line incident handling — all treated as part of operational design. We set RTO / RPO and document the recovery runbook.

— Definition

"Operations that run,"
defined by four conditions.

UpdateUpdate
A structure that lets content, features and infrastructure keep getting updated.
EvaluateEvaluate
Evaluate effect by metrics, as a basis for decisions.
ImproveImprove
Feed evaluation results into the next initiative, without stopping.
ProtectProtect
Protect assets from failure, vulnerability and tampering risk, and retain evidence.

— Process

The same model,
the same quality, every time.

  1. Step 01

    Diagnose

We record the current structure, metrics and risks as fact. Countermeasures come next.

    — 2–4 weeks

  2. Step 02

    Design

We define information structure, monitoring ledgers and operating conventions in a form you can keep as documentation.

    — 4–8 weeks

  3. Step 03

    Implement

We build something that works, on the assumption of testing and evidence. Delivery includes migration and verification.

    — 4–12 weeks

  4. Step 04

    Operate

We keep the four conditions — update, evaluate, improve, protect — turning. The improvement list goes to an operations review every month.

    — Monthly retainer (ongoing)
